Tracy Seidman Hephner

Tracy Seidman Hephner has 28 years’ experience managing the family 12,000-acre working cattle ranch. She fills the board seat designated for livestock management. Along with her work in livestock management, the family ranch focuses on its game and non-game wildlife and fish populations, riparian area and watershed management.

Seidman Hephner also has extensive water management and planning experience, having served on the New Mexico Interstate Stream Commission from 1986 through 1999. She was its vice-chairman from 1996-99 and co-chair on the Regional Water Planning Sub-committee.

Seidman Hephner is also a nationally known basket maker who uses local materials, techniques and styles inspired by the ancient basket-making cultures of New Mexico.
