
Virgil Trujillo, a life long resident of Genizaro Pueblo, Abiquiu (NM). He is a livestock producer on the Santa Fe National Forest, Bureau of Land Management, Merced del Pueblo Abiquiu (land grant) and private property. Virgil has spent most of my life as a resource manager (land & water) in communal situations with large and small landscapes. He is also a member of the Merced del Pueblo Abiquiu, Northern New Mexico Livestock Assoc., Quivira Coalition, New Mexico Cattlegrowers, and The Santo Tomas El Apostol Parish. Mr. Trujillo’s experience regarding livestock management issues, community needs, and natural resource management will be an invaluable asset as he serves on the Valles Caldera Board of Trustees. Virgil will serve as the Livestock Management liaison.
