All hunters will need to obtain a New Mexico Department of Game and Fish Customer Identification Number prior to applying. You may obtain this number by visiting www.wildlife.state.nm.us.


Youth/Mentor Hunts

The youth/mentor hunts are designed for a youth (under 18) and an adult (18 and older) to hunt together. Both will be eligible to harvest one antlerless elk each.

Veteran Hunts

The veterans hunt is for U.S. veterans only. Winners of this lottery hunt will be required to provide the State Game and Fish Department with a copy of their DD-214 before a license will be issued.

Two Person Hunts

This hunt requires two hunters to apply on the same application. If drawn, both hunters will have an opportunity to harvest one antlerless elk each.
