San Antonio Fishing Program
San Antonio Creek is divided into four fishing reaches for anglers to choose from. Each reach will have a limited number of slots available each day. Anglers may make reservations for a particular reach on a given date and will be allowed to drive their personal vehicles to the designated parking for their reach. On the day of the reservation, all anglers will receive a short orientation on the rules and guidelines for fishing San Antonio Creek before they will be allowed to drive to their reach. Each angler is responsible for adhering to the rules and guidelines.
The goal of the Valles Caldera National Preserve is to provide angling opportunities for the public as quality outdoor experiences with emphasis on providing satisfying and memorable experiences in terms of scenery, solitude, wildlife viewing and the challenge of fishing.
