How to Apply
To take part in our fishing program, you must
enter a lottery conducted by the Valles Caldera Trust. The Trust holds three lotteries; one per season (spring, summer and fall). Lottery tickets are $5.00 each and may be purchased for any available fishing
date. You may purchase as many tickets as you wish.
** We have added morning and evening fishing this year, so be sure to check the start and end times of the day you are interested in.

Each individual lottery winner will only be permitted to win one fishing
day per season. This allows each individual a maximum of three opportunities to
win a day of fishing on the Preserve.
Rod Fees
Lottery winner's may bring up to 3 guests. All members of the winner's party will be charged a rod fee.
Rod Fees:
- Adults - $25
- Seniors (62 and over) - $20
- Children (16 and below) - $10
Winners will receive instructions on how and when to pay the rod fees.
