How to Reserve

The Trust limits the number of riders to provide a quality experience. In addition, parking for horse trailers is limited. Reservations are not required; however, if you wish to guarantee your riding slot, you should make a reservation. You may also sign up at the staging area any day the equestrian trails are operating. Please note individuals with reservations have priority, and walk-ins will be accommodated providing there is room. The Preserve does not presently participate in the Golden Passport program.

Apply On-Line

To reserve your ride on the Preserve, select your ride from the available dates page. This site will accept credit card payments only.

Apply by Phone

You may also contact us by phone Monday-Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. (MST) and on Saturdays, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. (MST) by calling toll-free: 1-866-382-5537.

Riding Fees

Riding fees are $20 per horse.

What to Expect

Riders should be prepared for changing weather. A slicker is a must in the late summer. The Preserve requires ridera age 16 and younger to wear a helmet. Water is available for your horse but no potable water is available on the trail. For more suggestions, see our checklist for riders.

Parking space is adequate for riders to tie their horses to trailers but no corrals are available. Please do not bring hay onto the Preserve. To prevent the introduction of noxious weeds, only pelleted feed is permitted. Please visit our rules for riders webpage to see all of the rules for the Preserve's equestrian program.
