Van Tours Overview
Sit back and enjoy while we do the driving! Comfortable van rides take you into the Valles Caldera National Preserve to experience the geology, ecology, wildlife, botany, archaeology and history of the Preserve. All of our van tours come with knowledgeable staff providing insight into key topics. Some van tours provide the option of getting out and walking briefly. If you prefer not to step out, that is also an option. Our artist van tours, transport amateur and professional artists (photographers, painters, writers, etc.) to various locations on the Preserve to feed their creativity. You can also take our short 45-minute non-stop van tour that gives you a good overview of the Preserve; no reservations are required for this introductory tour.
