Volunteers are essential to the Valles Caldera National Preserve. There are a variety of volunteer opportunities available at the Preserve whether you are interested in greeting visitors, collecting data for our science department or working behind the scenes to coordinate facility rentals. We have a wide variety of possibilities and would appreciate your help. To become a volunteer, please sign up on our mailing list and check volunteer opportunities. You will be notified via email when the next mandatory volunteer training will be offered. These usually happen in the late spring – summer and fall. Thank you for your interest in volunteering at the Valles Caldera National Preserve. If you have additional questions, please contact our volunteer coordinator at volunteers@vallescaldera.gov
